چکیده
A growth trial was carried out to evaluate differences in feed utilisation and performance response substitution of fishmeal (FM) by either partly defatted insect meal or microalgae powder different strains rainbow trout. Three iso-nitrogenous iso-energetic diets were fed 495 juvenile trout with initial weight 150 ± 37 g. Whereas, the control diet included 20% FM, two experimental free FM. Instead that, an equal amount spray-dried Spirulina (SP) Hermetia (HM) applied as alternative protein source. Feed investigated a commercial breed (TL) three local (HK3, HK7, HK8) over period 56 days using replicates per diet. Diets relative fish body throughout at constant rate 1.0%. Although comparable among diets, differed between breeds. The strain TL tended express highest specific rate, however, associated lower conversion. Protein superior irrespective diet, most pronounced HK7 TL. Due large weights, compensatory might have affected study’s outcome. Both sources showed be adequate fully replace FM for Improved adaption including high levels HM SP achieved selective breeding.

An eleven-week feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the growth effect of partial replacement of fishmeal by the microalga Spirulina platensis in the diet of juvenile Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei (Boone). The results clearly indicate that Spirulina platensis constitutes an effective food ingredient for shrimp. Growth rates of a Spirulina-fed group differed highly significantly (p...
